Our client is a well-established Tier-2 builder with over 25 years of experience in the Western Australian market. They specialise in a wide range of commercial construction projects and pride themselves on their professional approach, strong client relationships and consistent growth.

With exciting new projects underway and a strategic goal of organic growth, they are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estimator to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team.

As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in producing accurate project estimates and competitive tenders. You’ll be involved in all stages of the estimating process, from budget preparation to final submission and will be expected to identify risks and opportunities to support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare budget estimates, lump sum tenders and design & construct tenders
• Review and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare preliminaries
• Develop and present completed tenders to management
• Manage post-tender handovers to the project team
• Maintain a collaborative and solutions-focused approach

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience estimating commercial building projects valued at $10M+
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building processes, and cost structures
• Proficiency in first principles estimating and elemental estimates
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
• Familiarity with OH&S and quality systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive, methodical, and practical approach to problem-solving
