We’re currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our team.
About the Role
This permanent full-time role offers a dynamic mix of administrative support and reception relief duties. You’ll be a part of the Admin backbone of our day-to-day operations, working with a great team to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support to the team.
Manage email correspondence and scheduling using Outlook and Handisoft Practice Manager.
Prepare documentation as required using Handisoft, Word and Excel.
Maintain filing systems and client record management.
Assist with reception duties as required, including greeting clients, answering calls and directing enquiries.
Manage our New Client Onboarding process, including direct liaison and follow-up with clients to ensure we have all required information and that they receive a positive onboarding experience when joining us.
Support accountants with administrative adhoc tasks as required including communicating with the Australian Taxation Office for requests and follow up.
What We’re Looking For
Prior experience in an administrative/office support role, within an Accounting/Finance environment preferred, although not essential as training can be provided.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and ability to adopt new technology and software programs as required.
Experience with Access HandiSoft software is not essential but would be highly regarded
Proven ability to problem-solve and find solutions efficiently
Excellent verbal and written communication and friendly professional interpersonal skills
Confidence to work collaboratively and autonomously
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask as well as to understand priorities
Positive and willing attitude, reliable, punctual and conscientious.
Willingness to learn new tasks/adopt new processes/technology
