What You’ll Do:

- Lead the Flock: Manage staffing, recruitment, and rosters, ensuring compliance with the Animal Care and Veterinary Services Award 2020.

- Champion Our Culture: Foster a positive, inclusive workplace, aligning staff with our core values of kindness, diversity, and continuous improvement to keep feathers unruffled.

- Drive Efficiency: Oversee operations, IT systems, and stock control to meet cost targets.

- Strategize & Grow: Develop marketing and client service strategies to further improve our service to existing clients. We value the connection and trust of our clients, and want our promotions and client recruitment to reflect that.

- Ensure Compliance: Oversee HR, Workplace Health and Safety, and clinic processes and regulations (e.g., controlled drugs, radiology, consent forms) with support from our team and consultants.

- Manage Finances: Monitor profit and loss, update fee schedules, and handle payroll with our keypay system.

- Project Leadership: Oversee projects, keeping the clinic polished and crowing.

- IT Savvy: Comfortable overseeing systems and tackling challenges with hawk-like problem-solving skills.

- Resilient & Adaptable: You thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, bringing owl-some energy and a great sense of humour.

- Qualifications: You are able to work in Australia, current and ongoing. Qualifications in Business Management (or similar) or 3+ years in a business/operations management role. HR experience is highly regarded. Veterinary knowledge is a feather in your cap but not required—we’ll teach you the squawk of the trade!
