A leading Australian-owned and operated manufacturer and distributor of premium oil and lubricant products is seeking a high-performing field sales and new business professional to join their NSW Sales team as a Sales Development Manager.

About the Role
Reporting to the NSW Trade Sales Manager, this full-time position manages an existing and well-established territory, with responsibility for trade and commercial sales development across Sydney Metro and Western Sydney, particularly the Parramatta to Penrith corridor.
You'll be tasked with strengthening relationships with current clients while also driving new business growth, particularly through commercial contract acquisition across transport, industrial, agricultural, mining, and related sectors.
This role may include travel, attendance at trade shows and weekend events, and offers a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys both account management and business development.
About You
You will bring:
5+ years of field territory sales experience, ideally within the oil or lubricant industry.
A “hunter and farmer” mindset – equally confident in growing new business and nurturing existing accounts.
Proven success in securing and managing commercial contracts.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to identify opportunities and deliver strategic sales proposals.
A self-starter approach with excellent time management and communication skills.
Bonus if you reside in or around Western Sydney (Parramatta to Penrith), where most clients are located.
Key Responsibilities
Promote a trusted range of oil and lubricant products to grow market share.
Expand the trade and workshop customer base across the region.
Build tailored proposals that solve real business needs.
Provide consistent, professional customer service and maintain accurate CRM and reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service excellence.
