Mega Medical is looking for a Sales & Business Development representative to join our team to lead sales activities and provide key product and sales support to our customers and team. This role would suit an entrepreneurial person who has outstanding customer relationship skills and a strong eye for detail. With a background in healthcare desirable but not mandatory, this position will be responsible for driving sales growth through key account management and new business outreach programs.

Mega Medical as a business has been around for over 20 years and is the leader in Medical Gas equipment supply and maintenance services within Sydney and Australia. Being a specialist in our area of expertise within the medical industry, our team are dedicated to providing the highest quality products and services available. We are looking for a driven individual who is skilled in building and maintaining business opportunities and relationships with a broad range of healthcare entities. This role would suit someone with a positive can-do attitude and opportunistic mentality with strong organisation skills who thrives in a team/coordination environment to help us continue to grow.

Tasks Include:

Sales Activity Management:

Effectively manage and respond to inbound sales leads received via phone and email.

Engage with prospective customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries, and provide appropriate product information.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions in the CRM system.

Accurate sale order management and operational support alongside office and warehouse team.

Coordinate with marketing team on external email and online advertising campaigns to ensure they align with current sales activities.

New Business Generation and Key Account Management:

Proactively generate new business opportunities and manage key accounts by identifying and reaching out to external leads.

Conduct market research to identify potential target customers and industries.

Initiate contact with prospective clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events.

Build and nurture relationships with leads and key accounts, understanding their needs and presenting relevant product solutions.

Conduct regular account reviews to identify growth opportunities, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to proactively identify new business opportunities.

Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services as a champion for internal and external queries.

Desired Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and build relationships.

Ability to work independently and proactively in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to manage inbound leads and track progress.

Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales and marketing tools.

Self-motivated and target-driven mindset.

This full time role is based in Cromer on Sydney's Northern Beaches and will be primarily based onsite at our offices / warehouse location with flexibility and options to work from home available after initial training to the right candidate. OTE incentive scheme to be implemented on-top of base salary after initial probationary period completed.
