The Acacia Tree is a growing ecommerce and in-store brand known for its beautiful, high quality and practical products as well as customer-first mindset. We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Performance Marketing Manager who can take ownership of our digital marketing efforts - with a strong focus on Meta and Google Ads - while overseeing the wider marketing function to drive revenue growth, brand engagement, and digital excellence.
What You’ll Do
This is a multi-faceted role requiring both strategic thinking and on-the-ground execution. You’ll manage paid media, oversee content, contribute to product development, and manage key marketing platforms to fuel our growth.
Paid Ads & Growth Marketing
At the core of this role is driving growth through best-in-class performance marketing. You will be responsible for acquiring high-intent customers, optimising ad spend, and scaling digital campaigns across key platforms.
Develop, manage, and optimise Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Ads campaigns that drive qualified traffic and deliver a strong return on ad spend.
Continuously improve ad performance through testing, audience segmentation, creative iteration, and funnel optimisation.
Use data insights and performance trends to make strategic decisions - from daily budget allocation to long-term campaign planning.
Craft compelling ad creatives in collaboration with our content and product teams, balancing brand consistency with conversion goals.
Monitor key metrics like CAC, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rates, using them to iterate on what works and cut what doesn’t.
Align all campaigns with product launches, sales events, and brand moments to support our broader ecommerce strategy.
Product Development & Market Strategy
You’ll work closely with the founder and product team to contribute to the future of our product range and help shape how we go to market.
Collaborate on new product ideation and positioning, based on customer feedback, trend research, and competitor analysis.
Assist in pricing strategies and promotional planning across the product lifecycle.
Provide input on packaging, naming, launch sequencing, and merchandising strategy.
Ensure alignment between product direction and digital marketing messaging.
Help turn product launches into successful sales campaigns by managing timing, content, and visibility across channels.
Analytics & Optimisation
Build dashboards and reports in Looker Studio to track performance and share actionable insights.
Improve on-site conversion through A/B testing, landing page refinement, and mobile-first best practices.
Collaborate with product and sales to align marketing with commercial outcomes.
Conduct competitive analysis to discover new angles, segments, and market opportunities.
CRM & Automation
Manage automated email and SMS campaigns to drive retention, reactivation, and product discovery.
Build lead nurture flows and onboarding sequences in HubSpot (or similar).
Implement and maintain robust attribution tracking via Google Tag Manager and UTM frameworks.
Content, Website & Creative Oversight
Oversee Shopify website management, ensuring new, ex-demo, and featured products are optimised and live.
Guide product photography, short-form videography, and creative direction for visual content.
Lead content planning for promotions, campaigns, and seasonal sales calendars.
Coordinate with contractors and creatives to develop ads, social assets, and email graphics.
Oversee influencer collaborations and user-generated content strategies.
Own and execute SEO and content marketing initiatives where applicable.
Social Media & Community
Plan and schedule social posts to support campaigns and launches.
Respond to customer comments and DMs across platforms.
Keep the brand voice consistent and engaging across all public channels.
About You
You’re a sharp digital marketer with a passion for driving performance. You combine creative instincts with data-savvy decisions, and you thrive in fast-moving, hands-on environments.
You’ll need to have:
Minimum 2+ years in digital, performance, or growth marketing roles.
Direct experience managing Meta and Google ad accounts with $100k+ monthly budgets.
Shopify & Klaviyo experience
Deep understanding of paid media strategy, ecommerce conversion tactics, and funnel marketing.
Confident using data to inform decisions - with proficiency in tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Looker Studio, and Tag Manager.
SEO & Content marketing know how
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
A collaborative mindset, but also comfortable leading independently.
