We are looking for an experienced chef with cafe experience to join our team. Table of Four is an emerging hospitality company with eyes on expansion. Our current dynamic venues, The Garden Room | Roma St Parkland and Riva Kitchen + Events | Hamilton - are busy cafe/function venues providing a fresh, seasonal menu, 7days a week, Breakfast & Lunch. We are now looking for a diligent and reliable chef to come on board and bring a fresh influence to lead our team at our beautiful riverside venue - Riva - as we start to develop venue #3.
We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional who enjoys the thrill of nailing a busy service and ensuring your team is pumped up and enjoying the ride with you. Someone who won't compromise on quality, isn't afraid of using salt and pepper and has a calm and efficient approach to cooking. We are busy, so you must be organized and methodical in your approach to daily operations.
A successful candidate MUST have the following attributes:
+ Must have worked as a senior sous chef | head chef for at least two years
+ Function catering experience
+ Committed to high quality & consistency
+ Must be reliable, hardworking & punctual.
+ Must work well under pressure
+ Have a thorough understanding of stock control, wage control, & experience in achieving kpi's based on these
+ Mentoring kitchen staff & assisting with skill development
+ Thorough understanding of food safety & best practice standards
Take advantage of a great roster, with predominantly no nights!
Weekends are a must with 2 consecutive days off every week.
