The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Chef to lead our dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for menu development, kitchen operations, food cost control, and driving culinary excellence in a fast-paced and inspiring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire the kitchen team to consistently deliver high-quality dishes
Develop seasonal menus that highlight modern Asian flavours
Manage stock control, supplier relationships, and food costing
Ensure kitchen standards, food safety, and cleanliness are maintained
Collaborate with management on kitchen staffing and operations
Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and service flow
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
Strong background in modern cuisine (Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese fusion, with a French twist)
Proven leadership and communication skills
Passion for innovation, seasonality, and sustainability
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
Experience with rostering, cost control, and supplier negotiation
