Take the lead from day one in a role built for creativity and ownership

We’re launching a brand-new Indian restaurant in Brisbane’s CBD and are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen. This is your chance to shape everything from the menu and kitchen layout to the team culture and guest experience.

You’ll be backed by a proven hospitality group with multiple thriving venues across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. We know how to support chefs and now we’re looking for one who wants to take full control.

YOUR ROLE

As Head Chef, you will:

Lead all kitchen operations from pre-opening through to daily service

Design an authentic Indian menu that showcases your skills across tandoor, curries, street food and regional specialties

Hire, train and lead a team focused on consistency and excellence

Help shape the kitchen setup, layout and systems from scratch

Oversee food costing, supplier relationships and profitability

Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times

Work closely with ownership to create a strong culture and standout guest experience

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

10 years or more in professional kitchens with at least 3 in a Head Chef or Executive Chef role

Deep knowledge of Indian flavours, techniques and modern presentation styles

Strong leadership with a calm, capable approach in high-pressure environments

Proven experience with kitchen systems, suppliers and cost management

Hands-on mindset with a passion for quality and detail

Full Australian working rights required
