Thermaltake Australia Pty Ltd
Posted 5 days ago
Do you live and breathe gaming? Are you the go-to person in your circle for memes, tech tips, and social media trends? If you're someone who knows how to entertain, engage, and elevate a brand through creative content - we want to meet you.
At Thermaltake Australia, we don't just build gaming PCs and components - we live the lifestyle. And now we're looking for a Social Media & Content Creator to help bring our brand to life online. This is a hands-on role where you'll ideate, create, and star in content that connects with real gamers across Australia and beyond.
🔥 What You'll Be Doing:
Create & execute social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X (Twitter) - no posting for the sake of posting.
Brainstorm, script, and host video content with our in-house videographer - product showcases, unboxings, reviews, memes, you name it.
Engage and grow our community, including managing comments, DMs, and collaborating with influencers, gamers, and streamers.
Track what's working with insights and data - then pivot fast to stay ahead of the curve.
Stay plugged into the latest gaming and content trends - we want you to bring the freshest ideas to the table.
🎯 What We're Looking For:
Deep understanding of how to speak to gamers online - with humour, heart, and hype.
Confident on camera. Comfortable being the face and voice of our content.
Experience with social media platforms and campaign tools (e.g. Meta, TikTok Studio, YouTube Studio, Google Ads, Metricool).
A knack for storytelling, short-form content, and creating scroll-stopping visuals or copy.
Some hands-on experience managing social media channels, either professionally or through personal projects.
Familiarity with the gaming and tech world - if you build PCs, stream, or play competitively, that's a big win.
Minimum 2 years of experience managing social media channels professionally, with demonstrable growth metrics
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
🎓 Bonus Points:
Background in marketing, comms, or digital media.
On-camera or hosting experience (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, etc.).
Video editing or graphic design skills.
You know your RTX from your RGB and your TikTok trends from your Twitch clips.
💡 Why Join Thermaltake Australia?
This isn't a typical desk job. You'll be working with a team that's as passionate about performance and gaming as you are - people who get excited about new builds, new ideas, and community engagement.
If you've ever thought, "I could totally make better gaming content than that," - here's your shot.
📩 Ready to level up?
Send us your resume and a short cover letter - and if you've got links to social media accounts, TikToks, YouTube clips or anything that shows your style, send those too.
