We’re on the hunt for a creative, confident, and camera-happy content whiz to join our crew.

Fancy Hank’s Group is home to some of Melbourne’s most iconic venues, Fancy Hank’s BBQ, Good Heavens Rooftop Bar, and Springrock Public Bar, and we’re looking for someone who can help us show them off on social media like never before.

From behind-the-scenes smoker action to late-night cocktail reels and cheeky rooftop promos, you’ll be creating the kind of content people want to screenshot, share, and show their mates.

What You’ll Be Doing

Creating, shooting, and editing short-form video & photo content

Writing captions that actually sound like a human (not a robot)

Scheduling posts and managing social calendars across brands

Managing comments, DMs, tagged content & UGC

Jumping on trends, pitching ideas, and collaborating with our team across venues

Reporting on growth, engagement, and what’s hitting the mark

What We’re Looking For

1–3 years’ experience in content or social media (hospitality or food brands = big plus)

Skilled with short-form editing tools like CapCut, TikTok, InShot or Reels

Confident behind the camera and behind-the-scenes

Strong sense of tone and ability to adapt voice per venue

Able to use developing AI tools to speed things up and make life easier

Comfortable with Meta Business Suite, and basic social reporting

A folio or examples of Reels, TikToks or campaigns you’ve created

The Details

This is a part-time role with up to 24 hours per week, with flexibility across how those hours are structured.

Due to the nature of the work (capturing content in-venue, at events or during service), some weekend or after-hours work may be required — but we’ll always work with you to make sure it’s manageable and balanced.

The role is hybrid: you’ll be based out of our office on Exhibition Street, in-venue capturing the action, or wherever you do your best work. The office itself is a bit of a stunner, with epic end-of-trip facilities and a bagel shop out back for top-tier snacks between edits.

We’re a brand that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but takes results seriously — and we’re just getting started. If you’ve got big ideas and a knack for turning scrolls into bookings (or orders), this is the role for you.
