Online, Social Media & Content Coordinator

Gibco Trading, an innovative leader in the Pet and Homewares space, is looking for a creative, dynamic, and passionate Online, Social Media & Content Coordinator to join our growing team.

About the Role

You will assist in the planning, creating, and managing engaging content across social media channels for our diverse portfolio, including established pet brands, and an upcoming homewares brand launching nationwide in the second half of 2025. The role is primarily based on site with location shoots as required, with the future potential for hybrid work model. Potential for part time but full time basis preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Create compelling, high-quality content tailored to specific brand identities

Produce, shoot, and edit engaging photo and video content for various social media platforms, websites, and advertising collateral

Manage content calendars, coordinate postings, and ensure timely content distribution

Engage actively with online communities to grow brand presence and loyalty

Track, measure, and report performance insights to guide future content strategies

Contribute copy for social posts and online collateral

What We're Looking For

Demonstrable experience in content creation and social media management at a tertiary education level or previous business experience – role would suit both experienced candidates and those new to the workforce

Proven skills in video and image creation and editing (portfolio or work examples preferred)

A proactive, organized, and creative mindset with attention to detail

Exceptional communication skills, both written and visual

Sense of humour and an ability to create unique, fun content

Ability to work in a team and collaborative environment

The ability to adapt your voice and style across various brands and audiences

Someone who is passionate about animals and pets
