Brighton Health Clinic For Kids is an established paediatric clinic providing high quality healthcare to children and adolescents in the Bayside area of Melbourne.
The clinic has transitioned to new management and is now a family-owned clinic led by a doctor team committed to serving our amazing families in the Bayside area. With a highly-regarded multidisciplinary team of paediatricians, psychologists and speech pathologists, we are privileged to provide centralised support to our patients and their families.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced part-time medical receptionist (ideally available Tuesday to Thursday) who can support our team in providing high quality care to our patients and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Welcoming patients to our clinic and ensuring a positive first impression.
Managing face-to-face, phone and email enquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Accurately maintaining records in practice management software (Gentu)
Managing appointments- including scheduling/ rescheduling appointments and filling appointment cancellations
Processing payments in-person and over the phone using Tyro
Providing general administrative and systems support to the clinical team

About you
You are passionate about paediatric healthcare and thrive in a collaborative team environment. You are empathetic, proactive and solutions-focused, with a natural ability to make patients and their families feel cared for and supported.
You are highly organised and detail-oriented, with an ability to multi-task and prioritise in a busy work environment.
You bring:
At least 3 years’ experience as a Receptionist or Administration Officer in a healthcare setting (paediatric experience is highly regarded)
Technical proficiency in practice management software (Gentu experience is highly regarded) and Microsoft 365
Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
Permanent working rights with no restrictions
