Pearl Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator or Contracts Manager to join our client, a well-regarded consultancy supporting major players in the mining and resources sector. Based just outside Perth’s CBD, this is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and professional team working across multiple projects with tier-one mining clients.
About the Role:
This role provides key contract support across a broad portfolio of projects. You’ll be responsible for reviewing and negotiating commercial terms, managing stakeholder communication, supporting project teams, and overseeing various aspects of contract administration and project reporting.
Depending on your level of experience, you’ll either be assisting with or independently managing contract clarifications and negotiations with clients, insurers, legal teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate contract terms; maintain clarification registers
- Manage commercial correspondence across multiple parties and maintain supporting documentation
- Assist with contract award, project setup, and formal sign-off documentation
- Support project teams with compliance and performance tracking (e.g. kick-off meetings, reviews, and close-outs)
- Engage and evaluate subcontractors in line with head contract terms
- Prepare and submit payment claims and invoices
- Manage contract variations
- Contribute to commercial reporting, including KPIs, forecasting, and cost control
- Assist with pre-qualifications and tender submissions
- Deliver internal project reporting (weekly hours, cost control, forecasting)
About You:
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role (2+ years preferred for higher-level applicants)
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts in the mining/resources or infrastructure space
- Confident in reviewing contracts and engaging in direct clarification with clients (required at higher salary levels)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Salary & Flexibility:
- Salary will depend on your experience and the level of responsibility you can take on.
- Full-time preferred, however part-time may be considered for the right candidates
- The role is based in a central office location, close to public transport. Onsite parking available at a discounted daily rate
