About the role

This full-time Accounts and Administration role at International Chemicals Engineering in Dandenong South, Victoria offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organisation. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounts and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the business. What you'll be doing

Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions

Reconciling bank accounts

Maintaining accurate financial records and internal compliance registers

Providing general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document management

Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and completing extensive monthly Management spreadsheet

Posting journal entries

Preparing import costings

Processing credit applications

Preparing and processing payroll

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required including external auditor.

What we're looking for

Proven experience in an accounts or administration role, preferably in a similar industrial or manufacturing environment (minimum 3-5 years experience)

Proficient in the use of accounting software (preferably Myob Account Right

Proficient using Excel and other office applications

Accounting qualification (Diploma/Degree) or equivalent relevant experience.

Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail

Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Positive attitude and willingness to learn
