We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Sous Chef and Sous Chef to join our kitchen teams. The roles could spam across our restaurants or our catering business, and so we invite you send us your resume, and a cover letter that talks to which part of our business excites you the most. The roles will play a vital role that supports the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations while helping to drive our mission forward. You’ll lead by example in maintaining culinary excellence, ensuring smooth daily operations, and playing an essential role in mentoring and training team members—particularly those from refugee and migrant communities.

In the roles, your duties will include:

Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and ensuring food quality and consistency align with mission objectives and dietary requirements.

Oversee food preparation, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards, while maintaining high-quality standards in cooking techniques and presentation.

Supervise kitchen staff, assign tasks, and provide guidance to ensure efficient and organised food production.

Conduct training sessions for kitchen personnel on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Assist in identifying talent, providing mentoring, and fostering a positive work environment to elevate team performance.

Assist in implementing food service plans, adapting to changing mission requirements, and supporting logistical aspects of food service operations.

Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, sanitation standards.

Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities, equipment, and food storage areas to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene levels.
