👨‍🍳 Sous Chef – Antica Dining, North Sydney

Antica Dining is a refined Italian restaurant in North Sydney, focused on seasonality, tradition, and modern culinary technique. We’re seeking a passionate and driven Sous Chef to support our Executive Chef and Head Chef in delivering exceptional food with precision, consistency, and creativity.

🔹 About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for a Sous Chef looking to grow within a professional kitchen. You’ll assist in day-to-day operations, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in menu execution, prep, and service.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Lead service alongside the Head Chef with consistency and composure

Assist in developing and executing seasonal menus and specials

Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene

Oversee prep systems, section management, and daily kitchen operations

Support stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships

Train and guide kitchen team members to maintain performance and morale

Help drive kitchen efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with WHS standards

🔹 About You

Minimum 2 years experience in a Sous Chef or Senior CDP role in a quality venue

Strong background in Italian or modern European cuisine

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Calm under pressure with strong organisational ability

A passion for food, detail, and kitchen culture
