The Position

Help in the preparation and design of all food menus

Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise

Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards

Fill in planning and directing food preparation when necessary

Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance

Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately

Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards

Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring a consistently high-quality product; Restaurant Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Responsible for food.

Menu cost, menu planning and design: preferable

Effective Head office & Front of House communication

OH&S & HACCP management

Experience:

Qualified Chef: at least 1 year (Preferred for Sous Chef)

Have the experience to work in a fast-paced professional environment.

Prefer a working background in a seafood restaurant (not essential)

PACKAGE OPTIONS

Full time position with weekly salary of $70k to $80k plus super plus and tips and free meals
