Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to work with a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, providing exceptional administrative support and a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will be a welcoming point of contact for our patients, a trusted colleague and a reliable support for our Practitioners. Ideally, you will possess a solid background in medical administration, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering phones and arranging appointments
• Greeting clients in person and answering general enquiries
• Processing payments and submitting Medicare claims
• Liaising with Medicare
• Managing appointment book
• General administrative duties
• Opening and closing reception
• Handling mail, emails and other correspondence
• Taking pre and post treatment photographs
• Assisting Doctors and Consultants with medical equipment and sterilisation processes
• General housekeeping including: restocking of supplies, daily laundry duties and general cleaning

Requirements:

A willingness to be flexible and adaptable working within a team is essential for success. Experience as a medical receptionist is essential.

The role involves working on a permanent part-time basis. Hours will be rostered within clinic hours between 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, and a shared Saturday roster (one or two per month).
