We have a niche capability in the Marine rock wall, ground improvement and bulk earthworks space currently operating in NSW, QLD and WA.

MGN Civil is seeking a qualified Project Manager with 5 plus years industry experience in the Civil or Marine construction sectors. The successful applicant will join our established team in South-East Queensland & New South Wales for 6 months with potential for future ongoing projects.

Shared role between two of our projects, Brisbane for 3 weeks at St Lucia, and 1 week per month at our Warren project in NSW.

Complex rock and marine construction

You will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Work with the MGN team to execute project work scopes.

Build exceptional working relationships with our clients.

Coordinate the implementation, execution, and administration of contracts, ensuring that activities (including ongoing contract administration) are carried out in accordance with contract requirements, project timings and budgetary constraints.

Ensure all costs are captured, tracked, reconciled and reported.

Captured all Quality related information in our Civilpro database, with variation claims and extension of time claims conducted in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.

Maintain up-to-date records, systems and processes, including templates, master registers and the project management software.

Ensure all correspondence is prepared and issued in accordance with contract management procedures.

Undertake site inspections as required by the contract and management systems.

Project reporting in accordance with contract requirements with regular Client contact is required.

Work with the site construction Manager/Supervisor to ensure equipment and personnel readiness will meet project targets.

Ensure all work undertaken is carried out in accordance with project safety and quality requirements.

Your success in securing this role will require:

Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.

Experience in Civil earth works projects.

Experience in rock and break walls, land reclamation and ground improvement would be advantageous.

Highly skilled in Office 365, MS Project Manager, Civilpro

Full driver's license required.

Capable of learning new software
