This is an opportunity to join a mid-sized developer/builder specialising in the design and construction of townhouse and residential projects across SE Queensland.

We are looking for a motivated Project Manager with commercial, contractual, and financial acumen to assume responsibility for ongoing multiple current projects up to $10 -20m. This role requires a proactive manager with the leadership skills to drive projects forward, supported by a strong team. We need someone committed to exceeding expectations and contributing to the high-quality projects that this client is known for. Some projects will be their own, others you will be required to work with developer clients - so excellent interpersonal skills are the key for this role.

Ideally, you will have come from onsite, then construction management into a project manager role. We will consider someone coming from a construction management role, who is looking to step into project management.

Key Requirements

Minimum of 10 years experience in the Commercial or Residential Construction Industries.

QBCC Supervisor or Builders Licence

Extensive knowledge of design and construction contracts and processes

Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently

Proven experience in design management and construction programming

Experience in Head Contract and Subcontract Management and negotiations

Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and sub-contractors

Ability to identify project risks, objectives, and opportunities, along with value add opportunities and report to the client,

Extensive understanding and experience in project cost control and management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)

Excellent computer skills

Ensure all site safety management and reporting are maintained in accordance with company policies.

Attention to detail in the maintenance of project documentation

Tertiary qualifications in Applied Science (Construction Management) are an advantage
