About the role

Located in the stunning coastal town of Eden, NSW, we are a thriving seafood processing business dedicated to quality, sustainability, and growth. As part of our ongoing expansion, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Factory Manager to lead our operations and take charge of daily production on-site.

What you'll be doing

Manage and supervise the factory team to ensure high quality standards and productivity targets are consistently met

Oversee all aspects of factory operations including processing, packing, and dispatch

Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery to optimise operational efficiency

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Build a positive workplace culture through training, mentoring, and team engagement

Collaborate with other departments to align production with sales, marketing and distribution

What we're looking for

Proven experience running a team in a production or manufacturing environment

Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities

Solid knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations

Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management and quality control processes

Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of factory workers

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and organisational skills

Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations and quality assurance standards

Strong commercial acumen and a focus on continuous improvement

Adaptable, hands-on, and calm under pressure
