Factory Manager – Joinery

Sydney Custom Joinery is looking for an experienced and motivated Factory Manager to lead our workshop operations. We specialise in high-end residential and commercial joinery and are seeking someone who can manage production from start to finish while ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily factory operations and manage production schedules

Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of cabinet makers and installers

Ensure all projects meet deadlines and high-quality standards

Coordinate with the project and design teams to resolve issues proactively

Implement and maintain safety procedures and compliance

Monitor inventory, ordering, and material usage

Maintain machinery and ensure the workshop is clean and well-organised

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a similar role within the joinery or cabinet-making industry

Strong technical understanding of joinery production and installation

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills

Ability to read and interpret joinery plans and shop drawings

A "think outside the box" attitude and commitment to delivering on time

Trade qualifications in joinery/cabinet making (highly regarded)

Forklift license and WHS knowledge preferred
