As the Factory Manager for Award Architectural Aluminium Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility located in Fountaindale, NSW. This is a full-time position that is integral to the success and growth of our thriving business.

What you'll be doing

Manage and direct all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality control and timely delivery of products

Lead, motivate and develop a team of production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

Implement and monitor safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

Analyse production data, identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements

Liaise with other departments, such as sales and engineering, to align manufacturing activities with business objectives

Manage inventory, logistics and procurement to optimise resource utilisation and minimise costs

What we're looking for

Significant experience (8+ years) in a manufacturing management role, preferably in the architectural aluminium or similar industry

Proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing lean manufacturing principles

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement

Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and experience in ensuring compliance

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams
