Production Manager
Location: Seven Hills, NSW
Hours: Mon–Thu 6:30am–3:00pm | Fri 6:30am–12:30pm
Salary: $100k – $120k + Super
Position: Full-time
Reports to: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily to monthly production schedules, ensuring timely delivery
• Manage and update production tracking systems, communicating changes to sales
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Inventory to maintain supply chain flow
• Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance across production and warehouse areas
• Conduct regular reviews of production procedures and work instructions
• Log and investigate non-conformances and safety incidents, implementing corrective actions
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives including Lean manufacturing and 5S practices (desired)
• Organise onboarding, training, and performance reviews for production staff
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment according to service schedules
• Lead monthly Toolbox meetings and contribute to management meetings
• Support internal sales with production lead times and order status updates
• Promote a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Number of direct reports – 4 x Team Leaders (Total production team staff count = 16)

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in production management or a similar leadership role
• Experience in manufacturing metal piping systems, hydraulic hoses, or related industries
• Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S systems is a plus
• Ability to effectively engage with all levels of the organisation
