The Client

Out client is an international organisation which operates across numerous industry sectors including Investments, Freight/Logistics and Trade.
With a clear history of growth and long tenure within the business thanks to strong internal pathways for development, their Melbourne operations have now grown to require a new team member to assist their hands-on Billings and Client engagements.

Based in a dedicated CBD location, they offer a highly flexible Hybrid working arrangement, frequent team and social events and access to fantastic programs for Leadership Development and Global Mobility.

The Role

Reporting to the Divisional GM and broader Finance leads, this role is responsible for:

• Maintaining Sales, Profit and contract records for a dedicated portfolio of clients.
• Generating and Issuing invoices, monitoring due dates to ensure timely payments.
• Placing and confirming orders with overseas offices, verifying documents and preparing invoices for clients.
• Liaising with the broader Finance team to clear foreign exchange rates and report of realised sales.
• Managing client credit line renewals and update as required.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate should have:

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts, Administration or a comparable position.
• Prior experience using SAP Accounts system is highly preferred, though non-essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple timelines and engagements.
• Confidence in liaising with both External (client) and Internal stakeholders.
• Prior exposure to the Trade/Import industry highly preferred.
