We’re seeking an experienced Production & Distribution Manager to oversee all aspects of our coffee production, including roasting, packaging, and continuous improvement. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Green Bean Specialist and lead a passionate team, ensuring our customers get the consistent, high-quality coffee they love.

What you'll be doing

Managing and optimising the end-to-end production and distribution processes, from raw material to final product delivery

Forecasting production and distribution requirements to meet customer demand and maximise operational efficiency

Overseeing production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control procedures

Collaborating with the logistics team to streamline distribution and ensure timely, reliable delivery of products

Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and minimise waste

Providing leadership and guidance to the production and distribution team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous learning

Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or distribution management role, preferably within the food and beverage or manufacturing industry

Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and logistics operations

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement practical solutions

Proven track record of leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Proficient in the use of relevant production and distribution management software and technologies

A passion for the coffee industry and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service

What you’ll do

Oversee daily roasting and packaging operations, delivering consistency and meeting tight deadlines.

Develop and execute flexible production plans, quickly adapting to shifts in demand.

Lead, mentor and inspire our roasting and warehouse teams, working side-by-side on the floor to get the job done.

Identify and implement process improvements, driving efficiency and quality across the board.

Who you are

You bring 5+ years’ experience in coffee roasting or production management (bonus points if you’ve worked with leading competitor roasters).

A hands-on leader who’s as comfortable planning and forecasting as you are jumping on the roaster or supporting the team.

Skilled in forecasting and production planning, with strong ERP system experience (Katana experience highly regarded).

Collaborative, adaptable, and passionate about developing people and processes.
