Event Coordinator – Support a Mission-Driven Event!

Spoke to a Bloke is a not-for-profit getting men talking through community walks, connection, and action on men’s mental health. We’re looking for an Event Coordinator to support our Operations Manager in delivering our flagship Walk for a Bloke 2026 and other key initiatives such as Let's Get Men Talking sessions and community based activations.

You will play a key role in coordinating council permits, event logistics, and stakeholder communications to bring impactful community events to life across multiple sites.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting the Operations Manager with event planning and delivery.

Coordinating council permits, event applications, and risk assessments.

Assisting with logistics – signage, walk routes, first aid, suppliers.

Liaising with venues and ensuring safety compliance.

Supporting local walk leaders and volunteers with clear, timely comms.

Helping on event days to ensure a smooth, connected experience for participants.

Assisting with the coordination of additional community activations and related projects as required.

About you:

A motivated organiser with strong attention to detail.

Confident engaging with councils, stakeholders, and community members.

Experienced (or ready to grow) in event coordination, volunteer engagement, or logistics.

Comfortable working flexibly with occasional early mornings/weekends.

Holds a driver’s license (essential).
