About this role:
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of our key clients for a Catering & Events Coordinator to join their corporate facilities team. This dynamic, hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong background in hospitality, catering, or event operations, and who thrives in a professional, fast-paced environment.
As the face of the catering and event experience for the client’s Sydney offices, you’ll play a critical part in delivering seamless service to both internal stakeholders and external guests.
In this role, you will be:
Manage the Guest Services inbox, processing catering orders, quote requests, and event inquiries.
Oversee daily catering operations — from supplier coordination to on-site delivery and distribution with floor supervisors.
Track and maintain event beverage stock and supplies.
Support and coordinate a variety of events including meetings, town halls, and corporate functions (small to large-scale).
Maintain and update daily catering run sheets, visitor logs, and wait staff instructions.
Set up, reset, and refresh meeting rooms before and after bookings.
Provide basic AV setup and troubleshooting support for events and presentations.
Provide daily support at the concierge desk, including lunch cover and office close (4:00–5:00pm).
Maintain shared office areas, including the tea points, wellness room, and kitchenettes.
Assist with floor walks, basic maintenance requests, and general office upkeep.
Liaise with internal and external clients, stakeholders, vendors, and service teams.
Assist the Concierge with coordinating IT, catering, AV, and logistics for onsite events.
Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Prior experience in corporate hospitality, catering, or events (ideally in a large organisation or hotel-style environment).
Medium to advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Confidence managing multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and time management.
Excellent communication and client service skills.
RSA certification (required).
Barista or waiter experience (highly regarded but not essential).
Flexibility to work across both Sydney CBD and Parramatta offices as needed.
Neat and professional presentation
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Join a highly professional, well-established team with supportive leadership.
Enjoy variety in your day — no two events or meetings are ever the same.
