About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in a busy specialist practice. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operations of the front office, providing outstanding administrative support, and delivering a first-class patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Welcome & Management: Greet patients warmly, manage check-ins, and ensure all necessary forms and documentation are completed accurately.
  • Appointment & Scheduling: Efficiently coordinate and schedule patient appointments, procedures, and follow-ups.
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the specialist and medical team.
  • Inquiry Handling: Professionally address patient inquiries, providing clear and accurate information about services and procedures.
  • Records Management: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and medical files.
  • Billing & Claims: Assist with billing inquiries, process payments, and manage basic insurance claim information.
  • Office Operations: Contribute to the overall smooth operation of the reception area, ensuring a positive and organised environment.

Skills & Attributes We're Looking For

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Medical Receptionist, ideally within a specialist medical practice setting.
  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first approach.
  • Tech Proficiency: Competence in medical practice software and general office applications.
  • Highly Organised: Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Problem-Solver: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a can-do attitude.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced and supportive team environment.
  • Reliability: A strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
