Account Manager - Independent Hardware Stores

• Up to $110k Base + Fully Maintained Vehicle + 30k Commission + Super

THE COMPANY
Our Client is a well-regarded hardware and tooling company that provides quality products to the drywall and plasterboard trade. This is an integral part of the growth plans of the company. THE ROLE

• You will be responsible for looking after clients in Melbourne metro and surrounding.
• Our client manufactures a range of walling, ceiling systems, sealants, adhesives, abrasives, and other tools/accessories associated with the installation of drywall systems.
• You will be selling to their distribution partners within the plasterboard space - independents and wholesalers such as Boral, CSR etc… This role will have you dealing with store managers, procurement, category managers and business owners.
• This role is 100% managing existing clients.
• This role is NOT an order taking job - it is a strategic and commercially driven role hence we are looking for a strategic account manager.
• You will be working alongside the National Sales Manager who will provide you full product training and ongoing support.

THE CANDIDATE

• THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: Sales experience selling building materials or sold to a distribution network - independents and hardware stores.
• Building Materials such as plasterboard, power tools, hand tools, paint, timber, fasteners, waterproofing sealants etc…
• Proven track record of success within the building and construction space.
• Our client are looking for someone with a stable work history, enthusiastic, organized and has a structured sales process.

For the right candidate, our client is offering up to 110k Base + FMV + 30k Commission + Super + Mobile phone + Laptop.
