To kick off the new financial year, one of the industries leading manufacturers and suppliers of road safety infrastructure and warehousing guardrail systems are looking to expand their team across the east coast. With a strong reputation for delivering premium crash barriers, guardrails, and work zone protection systems, they support civil contractors, government agencies, warehousing and infrastructure developers in creating safer roads and workplaces.
With a large national presence and a fantastic team foundation, the business is looking to not just bring on an experienced and confident BDM but someone who is genuinely passionate about the work they do and wants to help drive leading products into the market.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for covering a broad territory across either road safety barriers/civil protection equipment or Industrial and warehousing safety barriers and work zones. This role will encompass all traditional BDM traits as well as requiring someone to be able to provide turn key solutions. As a breakdown, the below is a short overview of your expectations.
Developing new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
Engaging with contractors, engineers, councils, and decision-makers to promote road safety solutions.
Managing the sales process from developing new business to building a lasting account
Providing technical advice and product demonstrations to potential clients.
Staying up to date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor activity.
Meeting and exceeding sales targets through strategic account management.
About you and your experience
This role will ideally suit anyone experienced within the Civil or Road Infrastructure industry or Warehousing and Industrial safety products. Utilising your market knowledge and identifying key contacts will be vital for this role.
The company is also open to looking at someone from a Civil, Industrial or Warehousing products background.
On Offer
Base salary starting at $110k - $120k (Can be negotiated based on experience)
Super at 12%
Fully maintained company vehicle. Car allowance can be discussed
