POSITION OBJECTIVES
The Business Development Manager role is chiefly responsible for the attainment of new B2B
clients and partnerships within Victoria; across domestic and commercial sectors, operating from our head office and visiting clients as required.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for leveraging their expertise and industry knowledge to expand Mylo’s footprint, ensuring sustainable growth and long-term success. By actively seeking out new opportunities, building strong professional networks, and nurturing client relationships, the Business Development Manager will contribute to Mylo’s reputation as a trusted provider of property safety inspections, repair and maintenance solutions.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
● Strategic Business Growth and Development
● Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
● Sales Operations and Performance Tracking
Strategic Business Growth and Development:
● Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy focused on financial growth and customer satisfaction.
● Conduct market research to identify new markets, emerging opportunities, and customer needs.
● Create and execute a growth strategy that aligns with Mylo’s objectives while maximizing revenue and profitability.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
● Arrange and lead business development meetings with prospective clients, promoting Mylo Services' products and services while addressing or predicting their objectives.
● Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers by providing trustworthy feedback, after-sales support, and personalized service.
● Prepare and negotiate sales contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and established company guidelines.
Sales Operations and Performance Tracking:
● Maintain accurate records of sales activities, revenue, invoices, and client interactions using CRM tools.
● Track sales performance and provide insights to improve processes and achieve growth targets.
● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of clients and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports To: Business Development Manager – Lead / CEO
Internal Liaisons: All Office staff
External Liaisons: Clients, and Contractors
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field - desirable;
● Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role;
● Sound knowledge and familiarity with the real estate industry;
● 3 - 5 years experience working within the real estate space;
● Strong understanding of sales and business development principles;
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills;
● Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners;
● Ability to meet KPI’s and reach designated sales targets;
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
● Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of achieving sales targets;
● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; and
● Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.

NOTE 4: May require after-hours availability for emergencies or critical updates.
