About Our Client
Our client is a nationally recognised leader in industrial safety solutions, delivering premium equipment, systems and controls to Australia’s largest oil & gas, mining, and industrial operators. With a network of offices across the country, they represent world-leading manufacturers and partner with engineers, safety professionals, and maintenance teams to ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment.
Due to continued growth and strong sales performance, the business is expanding its national sales force and seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join the team.
About The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll take full ownership of your territory—nurturing key accounts, uncovering new opportunities, and delivering tailored safety solutions. From sensors and instruments to engineered controls and protective equipment, you'll work with clients to reduce risk and optimise safety in complex industrial environments such as mine sites, process plants, factories and more.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing and growing an existing client base within a defined territory
Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities across your accounts
Prospecting new business through technical engagement and relationship-building
Leading product demos, site walk-throughs, and training with clients
About You
You’re a relationship-focused sales professional who thrives in technical environments and knows how to build trust through knowledge and value. You enjoy solving problems, understanding your clients’ unique challenges, and translating needs into tailored solutions.
Additionally, you will bring:
Proven B2B sales experience selling safety solutions (electrical solutions also considered)
Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to consult across all levels
Excellent communication and territory planning skills
A proactive, self-motivated approach to business development
Salary & Benefits
$100,000 to $110,000 + Super + Car Allowance + Bonus Structure
