About the Business

Our client is a leading national timber floor supplier family owned and operated over 20 years. Recently entering the QLD market our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive overall growth in the QLD market!

About the Position

Working closely with the QLD State Manager an opportunity exists for a motivated BDM to join their business in Loganholme. Whilst nurturing existing key builder relationships, you will develop relationships with award winning residential builders creating long lasting partnerships and continued business.

Within this position you will be responsible for the following:

Sourcing, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

Business development with major residential builder accounts

Developing and implementing strategic plans to grow sales

Managing database

Build and maintain strong relationships

Manage builder supply agreements and proposals

What we are looking for:

Experience within a similar sales management or business development management role

Experience within business to business sales in the building industry essential

Experience servicing residential builders highly regarded, commercial builder experience also considered

Highly professional, excellent communication and relationship management

A passion for what you do and service orientated

Happy to be in a hands on sales position

Good business acumen

Pro active and self motivated
