Next Storey is a Northern Beaches-based residential builder specialising in first-floor additions and home renovations for growing families. With steady growth and projects in high demand, weâre looking for someone to join the team who can own our selections process and help keep the back office humming.
About the Role
This dual role combines interior selections coordination with day-to-day office admin support.
As our Selections Consultant, youâll work closely with clients to guide them through their product selections â from fixtures and finishes to upgrades. Youâll be responsible for setting up the backend of each project in Buildertrend, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring selections are aligned with plans and client expectations.
In between client-facing work, youâll assist the team with office admin, digital organisation, and supplier coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Selections & Client Coordination
Guide clients through the room-by-room selections process
Set up and release selections in Buildertrend, including product options and supplier links
Mark up floor plans to match Buildertrend room locations
Liaise with suppliers to maintain standard and upgrade product lists
Run phone or video meetings with clients to review selections
Coordinate client upgrades and assist with generating credit requests
Initial Backend Setup
Set up project selections templates and documentation in Buildertrend
Upload drawings, specs, supplier files, and internal checklists
Ensure backend data is accurate and ready before selections meetings
Support the team with refining and improving Buildertrend workflows
Office Admin Support
Assist with daily admin tasks including emails, document filing, and data entry
Support estimators and project managers with updates or documentation
Maintain organised digital job folders using Buildertrend and Asana
Be a helpful all-rounder willing to jump in where needed
What Weâre Looking For
Experience in residential construction, interiors, or admin (preferred)
Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar project management software
Strong communication and time management skills
Detail-oriented with an eye for design and product finishes
Ability to manage multiple jobs and clients at once
A proactive team player willing to take ownership of their role
