Join a leading WA gold producer as a Talent Acquisition Advisor, managing end-to-end recruitment for both blue- and white-collar roles across site and corporate teams. This 6-month fixed-term role involves partnering with stakeholders, sourcing top talent, and supporting recruitment strategy and employer branding initiatives.

Michael page is partnering with a well-established, ASX-listed gold producer headquartered in Western Australia, with a strong track record of operational success and growth. Since entering production in the mid-2000s,

They've built a reputation for delivering high-grade gold projects and maintaining a robust portfolio of assets across the state.

Their operations are anchored by two key production and processing hubs in regional WA, supported by a network of satellite mines that contribute to a steady and diversified ore supply. They're also actively developing several exciting new gold projects.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage end to end recruitment for blue and white collar roles (predominately site based).
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with agency suppliers including negotiation of terms and conditions.
  • Partner with our site-based leaders and stakeholders to support their recruitment activities and ensure the recruitment requirements are completed to a high standard.
  • Provide advice to hiring managers and stakeholders on specific recruitment procedures, selection criteria and interviewing techniques.
  • Actively source, interview, and offer for a variety of positions across geology, underground and open pit mining, health and safety, administration and corporate head office.
  • Assist in the development of alternate sourcing strategies to build talent pools for roles within the business.
  • Prepare professional job advertisements and other recruitment marketing materials.
  • Contribute towards the continuous improvement of employer branding and market recognition through targeted projects.
  • Ensure candidates and hiring managers are kept informed and updated on the company recruitment activities and the status of job vacancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, site access, diversity, and engagement strategies.
  • Comply with the Health, Safety. Environmental, Human Resources and Legal requirements in accordance with the Company Policies, Standards, Procedures and Management Plans. Complete all required training and attend applicable meetings.
  • Proactively identify and report potential hazards and eliminate risk taking behaviours or actions in accordance with the Field Leadership Procedure Key Performance Indicators and the relevant Organisational Level

Profile

The successful Talent Acquisition Advisor should have:

  • Full process recruitment experience within a fast paced environment.
  • Exposure to rescources or mining service industries. (desrible)
  • High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a reactive workload.
  • Effective stakeholder management and networking capabilities.
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the Company.
  • Ability to travel to remote mine sites regularly (1-2 times per month), at times overnight.
  • Experience with Recruitment software such as JobAdder ( or similar).
  • Familiarity with INX database modules such as InTuition, InFlight and LMS.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
