The Talent Acquisition Advisor plays a key role in delivering comprehensive recruitment services across the organisation. This position combines both strategic and operational responsibilities, including sourcing, screening, and on boarding talent, while proactively building talent pipelines to support workforce planning.
About the client:
Michael Page is partnering with an Australian aged care provider that operates residential facilities in Victoria and Western Australia. The company offers various types of care including permanent residential, respite, dementia, and palliative care. Our Client is committed to creating a supportive and respectful environment for older Australians and complies with national aged care standards
Key responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes: advertising, screening, interviewing, and on-boarding.
Collaborate with Home Managers to understand staffing needs and tailor recruitment strategies.
Build and maintain talent pools for high-volume and critical roles.
Post job advertisements on Express and SEEK (as required).
Review on boarding documentation and issue employment contracts via Flare HR.
Coordinate with Payroll and send communications to new hires.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and EBAs.
Maintain recruitment and compliance trackers (e.g., induction, NDIS, vaccinations, vSure).
Update job postings on Express.
Support the implementation of workforce plans across Homes.
Maintain accurate recruitment data and generate regular reports and insights.
Promote employer brand through various sourcing channels.
Assist with visa and sponsorship processes when needed.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in recruitment.
Perform other duties as required.
The successful candidate should have:
Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within aged care or a service-based industry.
Strong talent pooling and pipeline development skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Understanding of workforce planning and related metrics.
Proficiency in ATS and HRIS platforms.
Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in the aged care sector is highly desirable.
