The Role
We’re on the lookout for a proactive and reliable Administration Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our busy construction team. Ideally, you’ll have some exposure to the insurance or construction industries—particularly insurance building administration—but above all, we’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
Manage job files and project documentation
Draft clear, professional emails to clients, subcontractors, and insurers
Liaise with clients, insurance companies, and internal team members
Maintain accurate records and assist with job tracking
Assist with scheduling, project timelines, and workflow coordination
Support data entry and basic financial administration
Keep compliance and quoting document templates up to date
Provide general administrative support to the director and wider team
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
Confident communicator with good written English
Able to manage digital documents and cloud-based systems (e.g. Google Drive, Gmail)
Detail-focused and organised
Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to learn
Nice-to-Haves:
Previous experience in insurance building or construction administration
Familiarity with Xero, quoting tools, or building contracts
Experience with Crunchwork (helpful but not essential)
