Join a small, friendly team as an Administrative & Marketing Assistant for a short-term property management company in managing 500 rooms & holiday homes across Greater Sydney in the hospitality sector. Candidates with prior experience in guest service-related industries and a background in marketing are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
Marketing
Develop, Maintain and Manage Marketing Materials and Content
Perform Market Research & Execute Marketing Strategies
Customer Relationships & Reviews Management
Regularly Develop, Manage and Review Marketing Information for Online Listings
Coordinate and update listings across OTAs (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com), including writing engaging descriptions, selecting photos, and maintaining accurate content.
Content creation for social media, websites, newsletters, and guest-facing materials, etc.
Manage and Update Company Website
Management of Internal and External Marketing Systems and Assets
Administrative
Assist and support property managers in carrying out administrative duties
Greeting and directing incoming/outbound guests and clients and providing a high standard of professional customer service
Handling and directing all inbound calls, and actioning outbound calls as required
Monitor incoming and outgoing emails/messages, and actioning as required
Engaging and sending out of work orders to contractors or staff
Collection of payments and sending out of invoices
Performance of small office tasks, and managing deadlines
File and document management
Essentials:
Minimum 1 year experience in customer service or similar role
Minimum 1.5 years’ experience in marketing
Experience and knowledge in any real estate, hotel, accommodation industry will be highly regarded but not required
Background in Marketing (Education or Work Experience)
Preferred high-level computer skills and knowledge
Strong knowledge of digital tools and platforms (marketing or PMS systems)
Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
Demonstrate a high degree of customer-first initiative
Proficient in Microsoft applications
Ability to work under high pressure
Demonstrate a high-level of problem solving
Excellent ability to work within team
Ability to learn, adapt and continue development in the workplace
Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication
A proactive and team-oriented mindset
