Your New Role
Due to growth of the company, the group financial controller has decided to bring you in to be the finance manager, in charge of financial consolidations of results, liaising the annual audits, oversight of taxation fillings both local and international, and working closely with outsourced AP/AR solution - though based on your bandwidth, this may come in house under your supervision. Initially the role will be hands on, no direct reports, though in time it is expected a grad or assistant accountant will be hired to support day to day accounting operations.

Core Responsibilities:
- Budgeting and forecasting lead (18 month rolling, updated quarterly)
- Cash flow model stewardship
- Monthly performance reporting - consolidating 20+ entities results
- Review of revenue and expenses as prepared externally
- Budget vs Actuals results and analysis, providing insights and explanations
- Deliver timely and accurate half and full year ASX Reporting
- Prepare the annual report
- Lead the audit engagement (mid-tier auditor)
- Tax Compliance across 3 continents, and tax planning models
- Statutory Accounts Prep for multiple countries
- Oversee share based payment program including valuations, vesting tests and required accounting.
- Banking duties include managing drawdowns, expense oversight, covenant reporting
- Ad hoc projects, systems upgrades, continuous improvement, automation, use of AI where practical
- Impairment modelling

Your Profile
The role is described as a 2IC to the Group FC, so the ability to work well with others, support any task required, and the foundational accounting knowledge/experience is essential for consideration. You possess a CA or CPA qualification, minimum 5 years professional experience gained in either a global top 10 accounting firm where you had ASX listed clients, or an equivalent financial reporting role in a listed company where you were in charge of statutory accounts, compliance, and managing audits.
