About the Role
As our business continues to grow, we’re seeking a proactive and professional HR Administrator to join our Human Resources Development (HRD) team. This full-time role is pivotal in supporting our HR & Payroll operations across recruitment, employee support, and general HR administration. You'll work closely with our HRD Manager & Payroll Officer, helping to shape a workplace where our people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative support to the HRD team as well as Payroll back-up.
Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising, screening, background checks, and onboarding.
Maintain accurate personnel, PALM staff, and contractor records.
Support supervisors and managers with HR-related matters.
Assist with performance review processes, personnel file management, and confidential correspondence.
Occasionally travel to support our Melbourne facility.
General office administrative duties including scheduling, filing, and meeting coordination.
Assist with HR projects and initiatives as required.
About You
You are a detail-oriented, energetic, and professional individual who values confidentiality and embraces challenges with a positive mindset. You are passionate about HR and people, and you align with AME Systems’ core values: Courageous, Accountable, Respectful, and Engaged.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Proven experience in office administration, HR administration, or a related field & Payroll.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common office software.
A sound understanding of Australian workplace laws.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail and pride in your work.
A positive, approachable, and professional personality, with the ability to build rapport and trust with people at all levels.
A current Driver’s License.
Desirable:
Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline.
Experience working with culturally diverse teams.
Strong mathematical skills for data reporting and analysis.
