About the role

This is a part-time (3 days per week) position for a People Operations and Payroll Coordinator based in Tullamarine, VIC. You will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources and Payroll functions at CHM Corporate Health Management, a leading provider of workplace health and wellbeing services. Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including coordination of necessary paperwork and systems access

Maintaining employee records and databases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations

Completing ad-hoc administrative tasks, such as preparing employment contracts and letters

Answering employee inquiries related to payroll, leave, and other HR matters in a professional and timely manner

Providing general administrative support to the team and all employees as required

Assisting with the recruitment processes such as creating and posting job ads

Manage superannuation payments, leave accruals and salary sacrifice benefits

Ensure payroll compliance with relevant laws and industry awards

Key Selection Criteria:

At least 3 years' experience in an HR or payroll coordination role, ideally in a similar fast-paced, customer-centric environment

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and data

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with employees at all levels

Experience in using HR and payroll software Employment Hero

A team player with the ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks effectively

Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and payroll compliance requirements

Knowledge of Industry Awards
