About the Opportunity:
This role is based in Western Sydney. The Business Analyst / Implementation Consultant plays a key role in leading the end-to-end implementation of merchandising software solutions for clients, particularly in the supermarket and grocery retail sector. Working closely with customers, this role is responsible for understanding and documenting functional requirements, defining project scope, and ensuring successful project delivery from planning through to post-implementation support.

This role bridges the gap between client needs and internal teams, collaborating across product, engineering, and customer success to deliver high-quality, tailored solutions. With a strong focus on stakeholder communication, project management, and customer training, this is a role for someone who thrives in a client-facing, hands-on, and agile environment.

You’ll be managing multiple projects, facilitating workshops, writing training documentation, and acting as a true customer champion. It’s an exciting opportunity for someone who loves building relationships, solving problems, and making a direct impact on customer success.

Background & Experience:
We’re looking for a seasoned Business Analyst or Implementation Consultant who understands the fast-paced world of retail technology and enjoys the energy of a scaling business. You will bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in business analysis, implementation, or consulting roles (ideally in supermarket retail or adjacent sectors)
• A strong track record managing complex software implementation projects
• Proven experience gathering and documenting functional requirements and writing user stories
• Excellent communication skills and confidence running client workshops and training sessions
• Ability to create detailed process flows (as-is/to-be) and identify areas for improvement
• Familiarity with SQL, API integrations, and ERP systems
• Hands-on experience using project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Prince2, etc.)
• Experience in SaaS environments and managing stakeholders across time zones
• A natural problem-solver with strong analytical thinking and a proactive mindset
