BUSINESS INSIGHTS AND PROCESS MANAGER
Outdoor Media Association
Posted 1 day ago
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced insights and process professional to step into a unique leadership role at the heart of one of Australia’s most data-driven media sectors. As the Business Insights and Process Manager, you’ll play a key role in guiding the Out of Home (OOH) industry through a major transformation - transitioning from a legacy measurement system (MOVE1.5) to the next-generation platform, MOVE2.
This role is made for someone who thrives on turning complex data into actionable insight, loves a good process map, and is energised by improving systems, educating others, and helping an industry move forward - literally. You’ll coordinate cross-industry projects, shape our education programs, manage platform enhancements, and deliver insights that support strategic decisions across the media ecosystem.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role is part of the small but mighty MOVE team, working closely with the Outdoor Media Association (OMA) and stakeholders across data, media, and technology.
WHO WE ARE
MOVE (Measurement of Outdoor Visibility and Exposure) is the official audience measurement system for the Out of Home (OOH) advertising industry in Australia. Funded by OMA members, MOVE delivers independently verified audience data to support smarter campaign planning, buying, and performance evaluation.
The OMA is a not-for-profit industry body with over 50 member organisations, including leading players like JCDecaux, oOh!media, and QMS Media. Together, we champion the value of OOH in Australia's media mix, underpinned by our values of being Spirited and Smart, with Humour and Heart.
THE TEAM
MOVE is powered by a close-knit team of analysts, software experts, and project specialists who collaborate with the OMA’s policy, marketing, and membership teams. We’re strategic thinkers, data nerds, and industry advocates - dedicated to making our systems stronger and our story clearer.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive the transition from MOVE1.5 to MOVE2, coordinating stakeholders, onboarding users, and ensuring data and systems are aligned.
Own the audience measurement system (AMS), keeping the platform accurate, reliable, and user-friendly for media owners, agencies, and partners.
Lead insights delivery, turning complex data into engaging reports, stakeholder updates, and strategic presentations.
Manage industry tools like OASIS (our campaign booking system), supporting users, delivering enhancements, and future-proofing performance.
Oversee education programs, including the OMA Learning Hub - creating training content and hosting workshops to build industry capability.
Support and grow a small team, mentoring junior analysts and overseeing quality control across deliverables.
Champion stakeholder communication, ensuring clarity, transparency, and consistency across all updates, briefings, and data outputs.
WHO YOU ARE
You’ll love this role if you’re equal parts analyst, strategist, and communicator. You enjoy finding the story in the data, building better processes, and explaining things in a way that just makes sense.
You have a relevant Bachelor’s degree (or higher) and at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Audience measurement is what underpins the value of OOH advertising - and MOVE is leading the charge in modernising how we do it. You’ll be at the centre of an exciting evolution, helping shape the next era of Out of Home media in Australia.
If this sounds like your kind of challenge and you want to work with a team that values purpose, progress, and a bit of personality - we’d love to hear from you.
Note: This is an in-office role based in Sydney’s CBD. Remote work is not available.
