Company: Is a 60+ year old global lender, who are listed on various global exchanges.

In Australia they are best know in the Automotive and fleet finance market. However this role will be part of their Business Finance division, that finances a range of wheeled and tracked heavy assets to corporate customers, introduced from brokers and their direct sales team.

Opportunity: Assessing and approving commercial finance applications for a wide range of equipment finance provided to corporate customers (eg: Trucks, Trailers, yellow equipment, Ag equipment, industrial assets etc...)

Role: Reports to the Commercial Credit Manager, you will be assessing applications through the 4C's of Credit for approval of new exposure up to $500,000 (maybe more) and recommending applications over this, generally to $5 Million.

This role will require you to understand the risk position in assets to articulate the 1st and 2nd ways out of the transaction.

Larger applications will be looking at cashflow serviceability from the P&L and balance sheet movements, to ensure the client has capacity of suitable quality.

The Business Finance team is a niche team in a much larger business, which looks at; new, one off transactions referred from brokers. This is a much more varied role that many commercial roles caught up in reviews.

Requirements: To be considered, we will be looking to establish the following skills and experience:
1. Tertiary qualifications that included Accounting related subjects
2. Prior Credit Assessment experience, using 4C's of credit and DSCR capacity checks for commercial finance applications
3. Ability to dissect complex corporate and trust structures to ensure the assets and entities are suitably secured
