The Opportunity

We’re partnering exclusively with a highly respected and recognisable consumer products business that services retailers and households across Australia. With a strong national footprint and backed by a broader corporate group, this organisation is known for its quality products and operational excellence.

This is a rare opportunity for a part or fully qualified CA to step into a well-rounded commercial analyst role with exposure across supply chain, sales, and operational finance. Based in South-West Sydney, this role offers great flexibility, business visibility and a pathway for growth.

The Challenge

Reporting to an experienced Commercial Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with month-end reporting, variance analysis and financial commentary
• Partnering with key business units (sales, supply chain, operations) to support decision-making
• Developing and managing dashboards, KPIs and reporting packs for leadership
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and planning processes
• Providing detailed analysis across margin, cost and operational drivers
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and performance enhancement

The Expertise

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• CA or CPA qualified, currently studying, or open to commencing
• 2–4 years’ experience in a commercial, management accounting or analytical role
• Candidates coming straight from chartered accounting firms will also be considered - particularly those who have worked with relevant FMCG, retail or supply chain-focused clients
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with strong attention to detail
