Practice Manager – Valewood Group (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Valewood Group is looking for a dedicated Practice Manager to join our team, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy general practices located in Dandenong North and Glen Huntly.

We’re open to both full-time and part-time candidates who are ready to lead with purpose and drive operational excellence across both sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Oversee the daily running of both practices to ensure smooth, efficient, and patient-focused service delivery.

Team Leadership: Motivate, lead, and support a multidisciplinary team in a professional and friendly environment.

People & Culture: Manage onboarding, rostering, performance management, and team training.

Accreditation & Compliance: Ensure both practices operate in accordance with RACGP 5th Edition Standards and maintain a high level of clinical safety and compliance.

Process Improvement: Develop and maintain systems and procedures to drive operational efficiency.

Financial Oversight: Manage basic financial functions including petty cash, receipting, and monthly financial reporting.

Reception Support: Provide hands-on assistance to the front desk team when required.

About You:

You’ll bring:

Proven management experience in general practice or a specialist medical environment.

Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to build and manage professional relationships with both employees and contractors.

A patient-first approach with a commitment to high-quality care and service.

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Best Practice software and scheduling tools.

Bonus if you have:

Prior experience with general practice accreditation processes.
