We’re looking for a meticulous Practice Manager to manage the day-to-day operations, coordinate the efficient running of 2 of our clinics in Ivanhoe, and help us flourish during our exciting growth stage.

About the Role
You’ll ensure we maintain the highest levels of customer service, patient-centred care, and professionalism.
You’ll be supported by a number of receptionists and an 2IC – all reporting directly to you.
You’ll have a deep appreciation for customer service and be highly driven, well-presented, quick-thinking, and solutions based.
You’ll have the energy and motivation to build upon our success and create a simple operational flow within the practice.
You’ll work alongside some of the loveliest people, including an exceptional admin team, 11 GPs at Doctors of Ivanhoe and 2 GPS at Ivanhoe Family Doctors, and three nurses.
The beauty of the clinics only being across from one another, will make it a smoother process of managing both practices.

Key Responsibilities
Human resources - recruitment, rostering, contracts and agreements, payroll, performance management, and conflict resolution. (With HR Support from Health Industry Employment Services)
Systems development - implementing policies and procedures to improve quality, revenue, cost management, customer service, and patient care.
Finances - accounts receivable and payable, banking, account reconciliation, and providing financial details to the bookkeeper
Business planning & development.
Promoting a strong team culture across doctors, nursing, and administrative staff.
Collaborating with all team members to ensure the highest standard of service and care is provided.
Pursue ongoing quality improvements, ensuring accreditation standards are met and exceeded.
Managing all aspects of the clinic’s day-to-day operations.
Developing a smooth operation system, to ensure a smooth easier process.
Changing the clinics to a full computerised clinic.
Experience & Attributes
Proven leadership and management experience in General Practice.
Cubiko, Hot Doc
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Great computer skills.
Willingness to learn and work as a team.
Training and/or experience in managing emergencies, handling complaints, and basic infection control.
Comprehensive knowledge of all reception duties.
Experience in Best Practice software is advantageous.
About the Clinic
Doctors of Ivanhoe and Ivanhoe Family Doctors are currently growing and expanding. Working closely with a supportive and innovative Director Dr Ali Kolahdooz.
The two clinics are in the process of tremendous growth.
Doctors of Ivanhoe has been a successful practice with extensive Medical Student training and regular studies, being held within the clinic.
