Customer Success Specialist | Practice Manager – Medical AI Startup (Remote/AU-based)

Akuru is a fast-growing health tech company building AI-powered tools that eliminate clinical admin and improve patient care. Our flagship product, i-scribe, is already helping specialist doctors and healthcare organisations reduce documentation time and improve accuracy.

We’re now looking for a Customer Success Specialist with practice management experience to join our team. If you’ve managed the flow of a busy clinic and love solving problems for doctors, this is your opportunity to be part of a mission-driven company transforming healthcare.

What you’ll do

Onboard new practices and specialists to our AI documentation platform (I-scribe)

Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting clinical workflow issues and platform questions

Partner with doctors and practice managers to optimise how they use I-scribe

Work closely with our product and engineering teams to translate user feedback into improvements

Help build a repeatable, scalable customer success process as we grow

You might be a great fit if you…

Have 2+ years experience as a practice manager or in a similar healthcare admin role

Understand clinical workflows, appointment scheduling, billing systems, and clinician needs

Are a confident communicator who can explain tech simply to non-technical users

Love solving problems, building trust, and creating efficient systems

Are comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment

Bonus if you have…

Experience with EMR software (e.g. Genie, Best Practice, Clinic to Cloud)

Familiarity with medical workflows or medical transcription tools

Previously worked in customer success or support in a SaaS environment
